This is great and makes me think of Dean Young's poem True/False, which is in his book Elegy on Toy Piano, I think...or maybe it's in his book Skid...? Anyway, it's a poem made up of 100 True/False questions with no answers provided. Some of the questions are contradictory (45. Tony made a mistake getting married./ 46. Tony made a mistake getting divorced.). Some aren't questions at all (78. Zinc.). The poem is a wonderfully ridiculous test of character and spirit and reading that forces a kind of weird participation, creating in the process a "portrait" (in true/false answers) of the reader. By the by, porcupines do not float in water, but pinecones do--that is, in the pines.
